Deer Valley School District Fundraiser

Go For The Gersters! A Charity Fundraiser  event this Saturday, February 2nd.  Please read the following and we hope you will all come out to support this family.

The daughter of Ms. Gerster, a Sierra Verde 1st grade teacher and former Esperanza teacher, was involved in a serious sledding accident over winter break. Katrina, a 17 year old MRHS student, has a positive spirit; however, as a result of the accident, she has no feeling in her legs.

Sierra Verde, in conjunction with Mountain Ridge High School, Esperanza Elementary, and the Glendale Fire Department will be hosting a charity event to raise money for the family during this difficult time. Go for the Gersters, a 2.5 walk/run, will be held Saturday, February 2, at 10:00 am. The event begins and ends at Sierra Verde. There will be a $1.00 donation/admission fee and drawing tickets will also be available for guests to earn fun prizes. An account, 6000169874, has also been established at Desert Schools Federal Credit Union.
