30 Sep Lagoon Water Park is Coming to Glendale
It’s been a long, hot summer, but soon enough the West Valley will have a new water park to keep cool at during the long, hot summer months. Lagoon water park and entertainment venue is headed to Glendale! Lagoon water park will bring an 11-acre beach lagoon with planned scuba diving, windsurfing and water jet packs all part of 48-acre entertainment destination for locals and tourists alike.
The planned project will be at 95th Avenue and Cardinals Way near the State Farm Stadium. The project is expected to be complete by October 2022, ahead of when Glendale will host the 2023 Super Bowl.
Glendale City Manager Kevin Phelps says the entertainment center will have a similar look to Downtown Disney with a themed hotel, retail, rides and a 4D theater. The 4D theater will incorporate smell, temperature and moisture into the viewer’s experience.
