Supplements: Roof Solar System leased through NRG Suncap LLC in July 2012 is now paid in full. This solar system is a 5.39 KW DC (STC) photovoltaic system. Whoever buys the house will want to sign the NRG assignment and assumption agreement because the lease is paid in full and NRG's lease provides for a guaranteed amount of power production for the remaining 12 years of the lease. For example, in 2020 (year 8 of the lease) NRG guarantees an annual production of 8,260 kWh's of electricity. Those 8260 kWh's are FREE to the homeowner. In 2019, the system overproduced the guaranteed amount. Reports and production data will be made available for your review. Under this paid lease, the new homeowner will be granted the same production guarantees, and NRG will continue to monitor the system. The savings provided in reduced electric bills is significant. August 2019 electric bill was $89.11 and September electric bill was $69.71 because of this solar system. Solar panel system will be reinstalled once the new roof is completed in the middle of February 2020. The roof replacement was not associated with any leaks, but only because some of the shingles blew off in the wind. Payoff of solar system was completed by owner for $16,000. New roof and sun lights are being completed by owner for $16,000. This investment, prior to sale, provides the new owner with peace of mind and significant reduction of monthly electricity costs.
